Common questions about Cognitia, the initial application, financing providers, and what to expect during the funding process.

What does Cognitia Credit Solutions do?

Cognitia helps businesses organize funding requests, understand relevant financing pathways, and identify providers whose criteria may align with the business profile and financing need.

Is Cognitia a bank or direct lender?

No. Cognitia Credit Solutions LLC operates as a business financing broker/referral service. Financing is provided and underwritten by the applicable financing provider.

What if I do not know which financing product I need?

You can select “Not Sure” in the initial application and describe the business need and intended use of funds. You do not need to guess which product fits before starting.

Does submitting an application guarantee approval?

No. The initial application helps Cognitia understand the request. Eligibility, approval, pricing, terms, and funding decisions are made by the applicable financing provider.

What information is requested initially?

The initial application asks for basic contact and business information, the requested amount and use of funds, monthly revenue, time in business, and an estimated credit score if known. It does not initially request an SSN or bank-login credentials.

Will I need additional documents?

Possibly. The documents needed depend on the financing product, provider, and transaction. A provider may request financial records, bank statements, tax information, invoices, property information, or other supporting documentation.

Who decides the rates and terms?

The applicable financing provider determines its underwriting decision, rates, fees, repayment structure, terms, and other financing conditions.

What happens after I apply?

Cognitia reviews the information to better understand the funding request and identify appropriate next steps. Additional information may be requested before or during provider review.
